Gryffen tries to free a ‘time being’ imprisoned by the Department. He was responsible for an experiment that brought the ‘Time Blank’ into being, and K-9 assists him in his plan. Unfortunately, the Blank, in the guise of a girl named Taphony, turns on Gryffen and begins to drain Jorjie’s life force in an attempt to stabilise her own existence.
