In store today live coverage from Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, of The XIV Winter Olympic Games

The Ladies Downhill

Who is the fastest lady on skis in the world? Can IRENE EPPLE of West Germany, a former Giant Slalom specialist, win an Olympic title in her first really competitive downhill season-or will GERRY SORENSON win Canada's first Winter Olympic downhill gold medal? Switzerland's MARIA WALLISER is another likely medallist.

At 9.25 DAVID VINE and KONRAD BARTELSKI commentate from Jahorina as the competitors plunge down a spectacular mile-and-a-quarter course. Sarah's search for a Superstore SuperStar reaches its fourth heat. Four more acts compete for your votes and a chance of stardom. In the music department with Mike this morning are Kool and the Gang and Spandau Ballet. Ring them on [number removed]. Lines are open from 8.30. Blue Peter's Simon Groom and Goldie pay a special visit. Simon's got a really marvellous star bargain on offer. John will have the up-to-the-minute news as America's space shuttle prepares to return to Earth after her latest mission. Reg Turnill reports live from Mission Control as we watch Challenger touching down at Kennedy Space Center.

Superstore has all the very best in cartoons and pop music.
